The rules. Plain English.

The demo deposit is $49. It is fully refundable in the cases below, and if you buy a site, the full $49 is credited toward your price.

We refund it if we miss the 48 hour deadline for your demo, if the demo does not match the info or style you gave us, or if you tell us no thanks within 7 days of getting the demo.

We do not refund it if you ask for more than one round of changes without buying, if you try to copy or use the demo, or if you do not reply within 7 days. In that last case it stays as credit toward a site for 90 days.

• Your demo lives only at a private link on our site, under /demo/.
• It is hidden from Google and other search engines.
• It shows a small "Demo by Frontstep" badge in the corner.
• It expires 14 days after we send it.
• Forms on the demo are turned off.
• We do not hand over any files until the 50% deposit is paid.

The demo design belongs to Frontstep until you pay the 50% deposit. After that, it is yours.

Half of the site price starts the build. The other half is due at launch. Starter and Business sites go live within 7 days of your approval and the 50% payment, once we have your logo, text, and photos (or your OK to use ours). Pro timelines are set in writing before you pay. Care plans are optional, month to month, and you can cancel any time.

Once the 50% deposit is paid, the design is yours. At launch your domain, code, and content are in your name.
